While our focus is on empowering innovators in Africa, we welcome participants from around the world who share our mission and want to contribute to positive change on the continent.
Projects will be judged by a panel of outstanding experts from industry and academia based on criteria such as creativity, technical complexity, impact, and presentation. Detailed judging criteria will be provided closer to the event.
Yes, the hackathon is entirely remote, allowing participants from various locations to collaborate seamlessly.
Your video pitch should cover the problem you're addressing, your solution, the impact it will have, and any key features or innovations. Be sure to make a compelling case for your project.
Yes, we'll have experienced mentors available throughout the hackathon to provide guidance, answer questions, and help you overcome challenges.
We understand that not everyone is an expert coder. That's why we'll offer beginner-friendly resources to help participants with limited coding experience get started and thrive in the hackathon.
